Krushi Sanman Puraskar 2015

The Prestigious Krushi Sanman Awards -2015 function was held at Balgandharwa Rangmandir, Pune, on January 15, 2016 and was organized by The Media Roots, Pune.  Gracing this occasion were many Dignitaries, including the Hon. Shri. Chandrakantdada Patil, Minister of Co-operation, Marketing and Textiles and Public Works, Government of Maharashtra, MLA Ms. Medha Kulkarni, Shri Dattatraya Dhankawade, Mayor (Pune), along with Vice Chancellors from various agricultural universities and other officials & experts from the Agricultural field.

Indofil was the proud recipient of one of these Awards under the category "Sarvotkrushta Shetkari Heetsanvardhan Sanstha". (Inspiration Award for Farmers Welfare Work).

Our Mr. R. C.  Bishnoi, Executive VP (Agro Domestic), received the Award on behalf of Indofil . Also present at the function were Mr. Maheshkumar Khambete - DGM, Marketing, Mr. P Bhoir, DGM, Sales and Mr. J.  Nag, ZSM (West) along with other sales team members.

With the ever growing importance of agriculture for our future generations, the Organizers (The Media Roots), have embarked upon a unique and innovative concept "Krushi Sanman Puraskar" with a mission to promote social awareness amongst citizens regarding the farmers' fraternity and their living conditions that are often adversely affected by the vagaries of nature. Citizens and Corporates are encouraged to go beyond lip service and become part of their lives by joining in activities that support and promote their well being. The objective of this event is to felicitate these extra ordinary people from the farming community. People who tenaciously faced the challenges and achieved remarkable results, keeping Maharashtra among the top positions in the farming sector and testifying  to the saying that "when the going gets tough, the tough get going !"

Farmers felicitated in Krushi Sanman Awards were from various categories viz  irrigated farming; non-irrigated farming; horticulture and agri-allied business, research, product and technology, export, special cultivation award for female farmer, best APMC, best dairy, YODHA shetkari, gatsheti, etc.

Krushi Sanman is all about felicitating our farmers who keep our agricultural economy alive and acknowledging their invaluable and relentless contribution to our society.
