Dr. Bina Modi is the Chairperson and Managing Director for Indofil Industries Limited. She also serves as a member of the CSR Committee which oversees the social responsibility of the Company. She also plays a key role in aligning the core leadership team towards the Group’s goals. In her larger role, she is the Chairperson of Modi Enterprises.
A successful entrepreneur herself, Dr. Bina Modi has founded and built several renowned brands; her Bina Fashions has a global market, and Ego Specialty Restaurant Chain, Dessange Salon and Beacon Travels are prominent in their respective industries.
Dr. Bina Modi has been awarded the “Women of the Decade in Business & Leadership 2018” by Women Economic Forum, been conferred with the prestigious Achiever’s Award in 2019 and has also featured on ‘India’s Most Powerful Women’, a book by Prem Ahluwalia.
Ms. Charu Modi is a leading businesswoman and an eminent educationist. Along with being the Executive Director of Indofil Industries, she is also the Promotor and Shareholder for Modi Enterprises – K.K. Modi Group. Her continuous focus is on sustainable value-creation for all stakeholders in all the Group’s businesses. She plays a pivotal role by bringing her long-term vision and strategy to the company’s domestic and international businesses. Ms. Charu Modi is also actively committed to the company’s core value of protecting the health and safety of the employees and creating sustainable business practices by guiding the Company’s Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management. Her contributions are key to Indofil’s growth, profitability, and long-term success.
She also leads the Group’s education business. As the Co-Founder and Chancellor of KK Modi University, she brings more than 20 years of experience to the table, moulding future leaders through skill upgradation and creating affordable education pathways for all - be it working professionals or individuals.
Ms. Aliya Modi, grand daughter of Mr. K. K. Modi has graduated from Brandeis University located in Waltham. Massachusetts, USA. She holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts, major, in Art History, Criticism and Conservation. Given her international qualification, experience and credentials, the Board is confident that it will help Indofil enhance its international market. She joined the Board on March 18, 2016.
Mr. Sharad Aggarwal is an accomplished business leader with over three decades of experience. He has a strong focus on sustainability, governance, and long-term organizational excellence. Passionate about ESG and actively involved in CSR initiatives, he consistently advocates responsible business practices and climate change risk mitigation.
He also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and Whole-Time Director at the BSE listed, Godfrey Phillips India Limited , the flagship company of Modi Enterprises - KK Modi Group and a Fortune 500 India and Economic Times 500 India company. An alumnus of Harvard University, Mr. Aggarwal is a graduate of the prestigious REC, Nagpur, and holds a PGDBM from IMT, Ghaziabad. He is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, reflecting his structured and process-driven approach to leadership.
A lifelong learner and industry contributor, he is actively associated with leading bodies such as the PHD Chamber of Commerce and FICCI and serves as Chairman of the Tobacco Institute of India. His engagements reflect a deep commitment to industry development, sustainability, and social causes.
Mr. Ashwini Mehra brings over three decades of core banking experience with the State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest commercial bank. He has deep expertise in business strategy, institutional lending, corporate and project finance, credit risk, retail banking, and HR and talent management across different markets, including India and the United States.
Mr. Mehra holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics (Honors) from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, India, and a Master’s degree in Economics, specializing in Econometrics, Monetary Economics, and International Trade, from the Delhi School of Economics, New Delhi, India. He is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers and a Certified Insolvency Professional.
Currently, Mr. Mehra works as an Insolvency Professional for two companies under orders of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). He is also a Partner in an Insolvency Professional Entity (IPE) registered with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, and a Director in the non-deposit taking NBFC, Davinta Financial Services, based in Bangalore.
Mr. Atul Kumar Gupta is a distinguished former Indian Administrative Service officer who retired as Chief Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh. He also served as Chairman of the Fourth State Finance Commission, Uttar Pradesh.
Academically, he holds a Master of Science in Physics from Allahabad University (1971) and a Masters of Social Science in Development Administration from the University of Birmingham, U.K. (1990).
Post-retirement, he was associated with Godfrey Phillips India Limited for a decade. He has also been actively involved with non-governmental organizations working in the areas of primary education, rural agriculture in Uttar Pradesh, and support for children with special needs in Noida.
Mr. Vijay Kumar Anand, IAS assumed charge as CEO of Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) and Managing Director of UPSIDC and was nominated by Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC) as Nominee Director on the Board of Indofil Industries Limited.
Mr. Ramakrishnan SRG currently leads the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) function at Indofil as the Corporate EHS Head. He is responsible for the overall EHS strategy of the organization, which includes framing standards, policies, and programs related to Environment, Health, and Safety. His focus is on developing a strong EHS culture and leadership to achieve excellence while ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
Previously, Mr. Ramakrishnan held senior management positions, including Regional Operations Director at Praxair (now merged with Linde) for East India Operations, and Manufacturing Director at Huntsman India, where he managed operations across India, the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa.
With 29 years of professional experience in manufacturing, EHS, and sales, Mr. Ramakrishnan's expertise includes managing large sites with responsibilities in production, engineering, projects, EHS, quality assurance, statutory compliance, and due diligence.
He holds a Chemical Engineering degree, an MBA, a Diploma in Industrial Health, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM). In his spare time, Mr. Ramakrishnan enjoys reading books.
