Leather markets in India are highly fragmented & fashion oriented Industry. It is very much service oriented as all chemical manufacturers & suppliers to test the performance of the products in house & further demonstrate their applications to customers to achieve the desired results on leather as per customer & articles requirements.

In Indofil Leather SBU presently we have 3 applications lab as follows,

Thane Plant: This application lab is attached to R & D & product management to test the application performance where mainly products under development, specials products & any in house comparison trials are carried out.

Kanpur & Ranipet: These  applications lab are in Ranipet (South ) & Kanpur ( UP) & are equipped with following:

• Stainless steel applications drums
• Stainless steel twin drums for comparative tastings.
• Spray booths and compressor for finishing
• Drying chambers
• Physical testing equipments like Bally penetrometer
• Generator
• Other required analytical equipments
• Office & meeting place
• Chemicals storage areas.

In FY 17 we will start the application lab in Kolkata.

These application labs are situated in leather hubs near to customers & providing  all the time technical support by technical sales team.
